IBM will be building Quantum Valley research & development center in 40,000 sq ft. A Quantum computer operates based on a photon. The building should be such that even a whiff of air or waves must not hit the processor as it will impact results.
Walls will be constructed around the computer and precautions will be taken to ensure air and sound do not penetrate the walls through insulation.

After some layers, the Quantum computer will be installed at a room temperature of -273 degrees. For every part used, there will be a scientist. Quantum sensing, Quantum physics and other scientific methods will be used to build the Quantum computer.
Space will be allotted for software and hardware companies that will help IBM build the computer.
Officials say the idea is to provide infrastructure facilities in 90 lakh sq ft. Like in Hi-Tech city in Hyderabad, the developers will build with public-private partnership and lease the space to companies.
But the building structures will be according to government guidelines, making it a unique place. According to international standards, an employee needs 150 sq ft to function. Hence, the infrastructure will be designed to accommodate 60,000 specialists.
