After assuming power in Andhra Pradesh, the TDP-JSP-BJP government has been fulfilling the promises made during the elections one after another.
As per the latest reports, the much-awaited "free bus scheme for women" will also be implemented very soon. It was supposed to be introduced earlier but was delayed.

Now, the government has set up a committee of ministers to study the scheme in various states where it is already being implemented.
The committee will be headed by the Minister of Transport (Ramprasad Reddy) and will include the Home Minister (Anitha) and the Minister of Women and Child Welfare & Tribal Welfare (Sandhya Rani) as members.

The Transport Department's Principal Secretary will serve as the convener for this committee. He will be holding the committee meetings and structuring the decisions made in these meetings.
The government has ordered the committee to study the implementation of the scheme in other states and submit a report as soon as possible. Chief Secretary Neerab Kumar issued notices regarding the same.

On January 2nd, a cabinet meeting will be held under the leadership of CM Chandrababu Naidu. In this meeting, the implementation of the free bus scheme for women might also be discussed.
