Director Ram Gopal Varma, who had already landed in legal trouble for the derogatory posts he made against Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh, has now landed in another legal soup.
AP Fibernet served him with legal notices for allegedly receiving an amount of Rs. 1.15 crores illegally. He was asked to respond to pay the amount with interest within 15 days.

A few days ago, AP Fibernet MD GV Reddy alleged that during YCP's regime, Fibernet made an agreement of Rs. 2.15 crore with Ram Gopal Varma for the streaming of his movie "Vyuham."
As per the agreement, RGV should be paid as per the views the movie got. However, he was paid an amount of 1.15 crores for just 1863 views the movie got. This means, the previous government paid him around Rs. 11,000 per view.

This scandal was unravelled recently and immediately, the government decided to take action. Upon GV Reddy's orders, the legal notices were served to RGV, then MD of Fibernet Madhusudhan and four others. They were asked to pay the amount with interest within 15 days. Otherwise, legal action would be taken against them.
