Telangana CM Revanth Reddy said he spoke to KCR in the Assembly as per protocol. He interacted briefly with the media in the Assembly lobby.
He said the interaction was routine and followed established norms.
Revanth Reddy said the government would show equal respect to all members. He said he had met KCR earlier at the hospital. He asked the media to question KCR about why he left the Assembly so early.
When asked about their conversation, Revanth Reddy declined to share details. He questioned why such information should be disclosed. On Monday, when the Assembly session began, Revanth Reddy approached KCR and enquired about his health.
Revanth Reddy had earlier urged KCR to attend the Assembly and speak on the floor. He had criticised KCR for operating politically from Erravelli farmhouse. On several occasions, he also spoke without respect about his senior political colleague.
KCR's presence in the Assembly created strong curiosity among political circles. However, KCR stayed for only about five minutes. He signed the register and remained during condolence references for members who passed away this year.
KCR left the Assembly immediately after the condolence proceedings. Supporters viewed the visit as a positive signal for future party actions. Congress members felt KCR avoided raising water issues on the floor of the House.
