The ground-breaking of AP CM Chandrababu's house will happen on April 9 between 8.30 am and 9 am. The house is being built on 25,000 sq yards.
CM Naidu bought the plot from a farmer in Velagapudi as a returnable. SRR Projects Pvt Limited will be constructing the house.

The construction will be wrapped up in one and half years as per latest estimate.
Immediate family of Chandrababu will attend the ground breaking ceremony. The land parcel falls behind the Velagapudi Secretariat, adjacent to E9 road.

Initially, Chandrababu did not consider building a house in the capital region. But in keeping with the sentiments of the people and the ease of commute, the AP CM chose a plot to build his house in the capital region.
Some political analysts feel that Babu building a house in the capital region is likely to instill confidence among Andhra Pradesh citizens. Primarily, the farmers who gave up their land for capital development are said to be happy with Chandrababu's move.
