CM Chandrababu held a review meeting with Ministers, HODs and secretaries at the Secretariat. Reports say he was unhappy with the performance of some Ministers and discussed their working styles in detail.
Chandrababu told them that their work style has not changed or improved in 18 months. He was upset that the Ministers failed to secure the allotted funds for their departments.
The CM said that Ministers can get funds released if they visit Delhi with their officers. He reminded them that travelling to Delhi for a day is not a big issue. He advised them to change their working approach from now on.
The Chandrababu government aims to develop Andhra Pradesh in 5 years. Though it has been 10 years since the state was divided, the capital Amaravati is still not complete. The present government wants to finish the task.
To achieve this, Chandrababu is holding regular meetings with Ministers, HODs and officials. He is expressing anger whenever works are delayed and is pushing everyone to speed up progress.
