The stage is now firmly set for the theatrical release of Game Changer on January 10. All eyes are now on the trailer for the film that will be out soon which will set the narrative for the film ahead of the release.

However, coming to the topic, the Ram Charan film is seriously lacking in one particular aspect, and that has something to do with the music department.

If we look at the recent trend, Guntur Kaaram had the super successful Dum Masala and Kurchi Madhathapetti songs before the release. This was followed by the success of Mawa Enthaina after the release.

In Devara album, we have Fear Song and Chuttamalle which stood out. They added value to the film and built hype to their own degree. Same with Pushpa 2 album which had a buzzing Pushpa Pushpa and Sooseki.

All these songs had repeat value and they added some sort of impetus to the respective films. However, when we come to Game Changer, the musical department is seriously lacking.

The film does not have a single chartbuster song till now. Let alone a chartbuster, if we leave hardcore Charan fans, we can't expect neutrals to even name the songs in the album released this far.

Best Performer 2024: One Far Ahead of the Others

Thaman who was brilliant with Guntur Kaaram earlier in 2024 is starting 2025 on a dull note with Game Changer album. In fact, even Charan's fans have started to call him out for the poor album. He is facing backlash for the same.

As it appears, it is Charan, who will have to do all the heavy lifting by himself with regard to this film. His box office pull will be decisive in the result of this Shankar directorial which has little contributions from others, including the often reliable Thaman.
