Akshay Kumar shared a heartfelt note regarding his niece Simar Bhatia, who is ready to dazzle on the big screen with her Bollywood debut.

Simar Bhatia will be seen alongside Agastya Nanda, who is the grandson of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan.

The duo will be seen together in the upcoming film Ikkis which is directed by Sriram Raghavan. Cheering his niece for a better professional career ahead, Akshay Kumar took it to social media while sharing a blissful note for Simar.

He shared how happy he was after seeing Simar's photograph in a newspaper and revealed how his mother would have reacted to the photograph.

"I remember the first time I saw my photo on the cover of the newspaper. I thought that's the ultimate happiness" quoted Akshay.

He further added how joyous he was after seeing Simar's photo by stating "But today I know the happiness of seeing your child's photo here beats everything." He ended the message by remembering his mother and how happy she would have been by seeing Simar do such wonders.

Talking about their film, Sriram Raghavan is a man fans can trust in terms of storytelling and sleeper hits as he has given Indian cinema some masterpieces including Andhadhun, Badlapur, Agent Vinod, and the recently released Merry Christmas.

While the early predictions for the film are generic, it remains to be seen how Simar Bhatia will perform as she will be rated by the audiences keeping in mind her nepotism factor.

As for Agastya Nanda, his performance in The Archies was mediocre and he would look to improve himself with a renowned director like Sriram Raghavan.
