A cybercrime complaint has been filed against TV5 Chairman BR Naidu for streaming live court proceedings, violating the rules. The complaint has also been filed against TV5 MD Ravindranath and anchor Sindhura Shiva.
Lawyer Immaneni Ramarao filed the complaint against these three individuals at the National Cybercrime Portal. In his complaint, he accused TV5 of making offensive comments against the legal system, judges, and lawyers in a particular show on December 17.

He alleged that the show featured various sarcastic and derogatory comments about the Indian legal system.
The complainant also accused TV5 of telecasting the court's live-streaming proceedings, violating copyright laws. He accused Sindhura Shiva of making offensive comments against the legal system during this show while telecasting the legal proceedings illegally.

He further alleged that TV5 uploaded the show on YouTube as well. He recalled that the High Court passed strict orders not to telecast the live proceedings of the court on any platform.
He said that TV5 not only violated the court's order but also committed a cybercrime. He requested the Cybercrime Portal to take immediate action against the accused individuals.

However, Hyderabad Cybercrime police confirmed that no complaint has been registered on BR Naidu, Ravindranath and Sindhura Shiva as being published in the media. They also confirmed that no online complaint was filed either on the mentioned individuals.
