Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu was speaking during the Assembly session on Friday. He said that adulterated ghee issue was a very sensitive topic due to which he was talking about it as little as possible.
Chandrababu said that some people were trying to hurt the sentiments of citizens of AP.
Chandrababu went on to say that his government could tackle rowdyism and naxalism after being voted to power. However, we are unable to tackle the opposition leaders, he said. Today, the situation is such that one gets scared if the opposition leader comes on the street as anything could happen. They are blocking roads and indulging in aggressive behaviour, said Chandrababu.
Will it take six hours to go from Guntur to Vijayawada? Should people suffer in hell for 6 hours, Chandrababu questioned. The CM pointed out that though there were clear rules that no meetings should be held on national highways, the opposition is violating them, he said.
Recently, Jagan went to meet Jogi Ramesh and family from Tadepalli to Ibrahimpatnam. This resulted in a huge traffic jam as YSRCP cadre held rallies throughout the way and blocked traffic. CM Chandrababu took time to speak about such rowdy behaviour following which the session was adjourned. On February 14, Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav will be presenting the state budget.
Jagan has made it a point to make a spectacle of his visits or the odarpu yatras he chooses to take up to meet his party leaders or supporters. The situation has reached a point where citizens of Andhra Pradesh are dreading such strength-showing acts which appear to be good on screen.
