Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu launched AQV, the Amaravati Quantum Valley, along with Union Minister of Science and Technology Jitendra Singh on Saturday in Amaravati.
The initiative was presented as a major step towards building a strong quantum technology ecosystem.
Chandrababu Naidu said Amaravati AQV would be a gamechanger in the field of Quantum technology. He addressed students at the event and said they were the future. He added that his hopes were pinned on young minds to drive innovation.
The Chief Minister said students shape history and rewrite it through innovation. He compared Hi-Tech city to an IT revolution milestone and called AQV the next big leap in Quantum computing. He urged students to lead innovation efforts from Amaravati.
He cited an example from Kuppam where a 7th class student used an AI application to track heartbeat, pulse rate and blood pressure through eye movement. Chandrababu Naidu said such ideas showed the potential of young innovators.
Chandrababu Naidu said Prime Minister Modi was the only Prime Minister he worked with who truly understood technology. He added that while the vision came from Modi, its implementation would take shape in Amaravati.
The Chief Minister thanked everyone involved in preparing Amaravati as a Quantum hub for the country and the world. He said agricultural and industrial revolutions but was ready for the Quantum revolution.
He said the country would need 2.5 lakh Quantum professionals by 2030. Chandrababu Naidu added that Quantum Valley and green hydrogen would be long-term game changers for Andhra Pradesh. He said history would remember Dr Jitendra Singh for launching AQV and praised AP IT Minister Lokesh.
