YSRCP leader and ex MP Gorantla Madhav attended the police investigation in Vijayawada.
A complaint was filed on him by ex Women's Commission chairman Vasireddy Padma for divulging the names of victims of sexual assault.

She had filed a complaint on November 2, 2024, against Gorantla Madhav for violating the rules regarding victims of sexual assault in a POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case. The cyber crime police gave notices to him at his office in Anantapur and asked him to appear in Vijayawada.
Police are questioning him in Vijayawada cyber crime PS. After Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Posani Krishna Murali, Gorantla Madhav is the next YSRCP leader who faces law for past actions.

The interrogation was complete following which the police issued another notice to him.
Coming out of the PS, Gorantla did not mellow down. Instead he burst out on Chandrababu Naidu and his alliance government.

Gorantla said false cases were being filed against YSRCP members and party workers. He went on to say that if they wanted to stop their leader YS Jagan by filing cases, it is like stopping the sun from rising, he said.
Not stopping there, he likened Babu's rule to Emergency period under former PM Indira Gandhi and said that Babu too was curtailing freedom of speech. He further said that YSRCP leaders and workers are not scared of Babu's actions.
He said the police had given him another notice and added that he would cooperate with them.
