Hrithik has recently opened up about the film while speaking at an event in the US, saying that it was the easiest film for him until now. Hrithik mentioned that Ayan has a surprise for everyone, adding that the director has done something magical.

Apart from this, Hrithik also recalled his experience working with NTR, stating that he had the opportunity of learning some amazing things from the Telugu superstar.
It is the first time that Ayan Mukerji is directing a large-scale action film. Apart from Hrithik and NTR, Kiara Advani is playing the female lead and will be arriving on the big screen on August 14, 2025.

The first film already has a huge fanbase among the public as they have continued watching it on OTT platforms.
However, it remains to be seen if the same scale would be maintained by Ayan in War 2. The action sequences undoubtedly need to be bigger and better if the film has to become successful.

But the biggest question is whether the post-credit scenes of Tiger 3 featuring Hrithik would play an important part in the progress of the storyline for War 2.
The first film was a big blockbuster, with an opening of Rs. 53 crores. It will be interesting to see if War 2 will turn out to be another highest-grossing film in the YRF Spy Universe and whether it will break the records made by the first film.
