AP CM Chandrababu said he waits for quarterly figures of agriculture, industries and service sectors like a student waiting for exam results.
He said the government has fixed a growth target of 17.11 percent and closely tracks progress.
Chandrababu said achieving growth across 17 verticals will push the GSDP higher. He stressed the need to strengthen livestock, manufacturing, fishing and allied sectors. District level planning is essential to meet the targeted GSDP, he added.
The Chief Minister said DWACRA women should be made partners in growing fodder for cattle. He stated that policies of the previous government pushed AP to the bottom position. The focus now is to restore the state as a top performer.
Chandrababu also said the nursery plant sector should attract private investments worth Rs 70,000 crore. Such investments can support agriculture and create wider employment opportunities across rural areas.
The CM reviewed multiple sectors during the Collectors' conference. Senior officials made detailed presentations on sector wise performance and future plans aimed at accelerating overall growth.
