Sunny Deol's Jaat is arriving on the big screen on April 10, 2025, and the advance booking of the action-drama film is all set to start from tomorrow on various platforms.
Jaat is directed by Gopichand Malineni and will feature Randeep Hooda as the main antagonist.
There is also some good news for all those who are willing to book their tickets since the makers have opted not to increase the ticket prices, which means that people can purchase them between Rs. 100 to Rs. 200.
India's Darkest Crime Novel on Big Screens Soon
This means that Jaat might take an opening of Rs. 10 crores on the first day, and the numbers will rise if the word-of-mouth is extremely positive.
Moreover, the film is releasing on an extended weekend, which means that the weekend numbers might be more than the expectations.
500-Crore Hero Shifting Towards OTT? Stardom Over?
Jaat has managed to create some buzz with its teaser, trailer, and the introduction videos of the main characters.
While the morning shows might not witness enough occupancy, people are expected to visit theatres by evening, leading to a double-digit record on day 1.
Chhorii 2 Misses A Big Theatrical Chance?
Jaat has all the elements to impress the single-screen audiences, who contribute a lot to a film's overall collections. While the aim is to collect Rs. 100 crores or more, it will depend on whether there will be a 40-50% occupancy on the weekdays.
The film is expected to attract the audience, specifically for its action scenes, which would give an opportunity to clap and whistle like they did at the time of Gadar 2.
But the biggest question is whether Jaat would be able to live up to the expectations and surpass the numbers recorded by Gadar 2.
