The High Court also advised the police not to take any action in haste. The High Court heard 5 quash petitions of YSRCP leaders.
Jagan has maintained that the case was part of political vendetta and malice.
It is known that a case was filed by Nallapadu police on Jagan Mohan Reddy for crushing an elderly man Singayya under his convoy during Rentapalla tour on June 27, 2025.
The incident created furore among citizens of Andhra Pradesh as the YSRCP chief and his leaders brashly drove away despite dragging Singayya for a distance.

Later, instead of calling an ambulance and taking the man to the hospital, YSRCP cadre threw the man into bushes and moved on.
Though Jagan Mohan Reddy maintains he is innocent and insists it is a case of political malice, he is taking precautions to avoid getting arrested in the case.
