Jogi Brothers Jogi Ramesh and Jogi Ramu were granted bail on Tuesday by a Vijayawada court in the spurious liquor case. The bail was issued under the jurisdiction of the sixth AJMFC Bhavanipuram excise department limits.
Both Jogi Ramesh and Jogi Ramu are currently lodged in Vijayawada district jail for allegedly manufacturing fake liquor in Bhavanipuram. Jogi Ramesh is listed as A18 while Jogi Ramu is A19 in the case records.
Despite securing bail in this case, the Jogi Brothers will remain in jail. Jogi Ramesh has not been granted bail in the separate Mulakalapudi case, which legally prevents his release at this stage.
Earlier, Jogi Ramesh was shifted to Vijayawada government hospital after complaining of hand pain. After a medical check up, officials brought him back to Vijayawada district jail without further complications.
Authorities say there are serious allegations against Jogi Ramesh in the spurious liquor case. Police and excise officials questioned the brothers, and several key details reportedly emerged during interrogation. Investigations are continuing based on their statements.
