One person who has been particularly vocal about Kavitha's plans is BJP MP Raghunandan Rao. It is known that Kavitha despises the party for putting her in jail in Delhi liquor scam case.
In fact, she had complained to her father about BRS taking a soft stand on BJP, in her letter.
But the BJP MP seems to be unperturbed by her comments. He has gone ahead and prophesied that Kavitha will be announcing her new party on June 2, the Telangana Formation Day.
Talking to media, he said that Kavitha is decided about walking out of BRS. The saffron MP said what's the need of mediation between father and daughter? It all seems like a family drama, he alleged.

Rao also said that Kavitha was not planning to join the Telangana Congress, but was trying to rise as a political force by her own. She will be supported by her father, he said.
Like Sharmila, Kavitha is going to do a padayatra in Telangana, which is going to harm the interests of BRS, predicted Raghunandan Rao.
