IT Minister Lokesh is set to campaign for the NDA in Bihar, where polling is being held in two phases the first on November 6 and the second on November 11.
After wrapping up his tour in Kalyanadurgam, Lokesh will fly to Patna on Saturday afternoon. He is scheduled to attend two meetings in the evening and will continue campaigning for the NDA in Patna on Sunday.
Bihar has a significant population of migrant workers from the state employed in the Telugu regions, especially in construction and food industries. Lokesh's presence is expected to draw strong attention and connect with this voter base.
This election, Bihar's key agenda revolves around creating employment within the state and attracting industries. These are themes that align closely with Lokesh's initiatives in Andhra Pradesh, where he has been actively promoting local job opportunities.
CM Chandrababu Naidu already earned the admiration of Bihar NDA workers during Prime Minister Modi's visit to Kurnool in October. His brief speech in Hindi, predicting NDA's victory in Bihar, received special praise from Modi, who said it embodied the spirit of "Ek Bharat, Shresht Bharat."
While Chandrababu Naidu may not travel to Bihar for the campaign, Lokesh, regarded as one of the most promising young leaders in Indian politics, will carry forward the NDA's message. He is expected to stress the impact of a double-engine sarkar and the benefits of the NDA-proposed skills census, both key points of the coalition's development agenda.
