Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has taken a key decision regarding the cleansing of Musi river. He told the officials to build a bridge over Mir Alam Tank.
For the same, the CM told them to call for tenders in June. He asked them to prepare DPR with the required surveys, designs and reports.

Rejuvenation of Musi river resulted in protests some time back. People were concerned when HYDRAA demolished the houses in the areas where Musi flowed. There was severe backlash and talks happened between citizens and government.
But the High Court gave a go ahead with regards to cleansing the river and the government started taking steps in that direction.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Forgotten And Ignored!
It is known that CM Revanth Reddy decided to beautify the place with Bapu Ghat as the center point. It was decided to beautify 10 km on the upper side and 5km on the lower side.
However, the CM has now asked the officials to speed up the process. He inspected the designs of Gandhi Sarovar at Bapu Ghat and bridge on Mir Alam Tank and gave specific instructions to act with speed.
