Recently, former BRS Minister Srinivas Goud and current Telangana Cabinet Minister Konda Surekha made sensational comments against TTD. They alleged that Telangana devotees are being ignored in Tirumala and recommendation letters from the Telangana leaders are not being accepted.
After these allegations were made, reports started flowing in social media saying that TTD decided to accept two recommendation letters from Telangana leaders every week.

However, TTD EO Syamala Rao denied all these rumours and clarified that no such decision has been taken. He requested people not to believe in rumours that are being spread on social media.
Meanwhile, the government of Telangana appointed C Ganesh Kumar as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to look into the issues faced by Telangana devotees visiting Tirumala.

Yesterday, during her Srisailam visit, Konda Sureka requested the AP government and TTD to make regulations to help Telangana devotees visiting Tirumala.
