Unlike his previous projects, Ram Charan is said to be deeply involved in every stage of Peddi. From story discussions to technical departments, he is actively supervising the film alongside director Buchi Babu Sana. Sources say Charan is closely tracking how the film is shaping up, fully aware of its potential if it connects with audiences. He is also taking personal interest in the film's marketing and release strategy.

Amid all this, confusion continues around the film's OTT rights. According to Bollywood Hungama, the OTT deal for Peddi has not yet been finalized. The reason cited is confidence. Charan and the producers reportedly believe the film will perform strongly in theatres and can fetch a much higher OTT price after release.

However, there is a twist.

Several Telugu media reports claim that Netflix has already locked the OTT rights for multiple upcoming big Telugu films, including Ustaad Bhagat Singh, The Paradise, and Peddi.

The OTT window also becomes a key factor. If Peddi is seriously targeting the Hindi market, the makers will need to agree to at least an 8-week theatrical window before the OTT release, especially for the Hindi version. Releasing it earlier would limit its reach in North India.

On the other hand, if the makers settle for a 4-week OTT window, it will indicate only a limited Hindi release, similar to several recent pan-India films that failed to capitalize on the northern market. That would be a missed opportunity, as Peddi appears to have some potential to perform well in Hindi belts too.

For now, there are two completely different narratives in circulation regarding the OTT deal. Whether the rights are truly unsold or already locked with Netflix remains unclear. More clarity is expected in the coming days, which should finally settle the confusion surrounding Peddi's OTT.
