Political strategist and Jan Suraaj party founder Prashant Kishor has been admitted to hospital due to ill health. Kishor sat on hunger strike on January 2 regarding BPSC paper leakage issue.

The hunger strike was in support of students who were appearing for Bihar Public Service Commission examination. Leakage of paper would mean wastage of a year, which is critical for students taking public service commission exam.
It is known that Prashant Kishor sat on fast until death and the Patna police arrested him and broke his fast. Kishor was granted unconditional bail and released.

However, post 4 days of fasting, he developed health issues due to which he was once again admitted to Patna Hospital, according to sources close to him.
Kishor has been fasting demanding the scrapping of BPSC prelims exam due to irregularities. He started his fast unto death on January 2 at Gandhi Ground in Patna.

The students in Bihar have been fighting for their cause for the past couple of weeks, but the government did not respond. This angered Kishor who took the decision to sit in dharna.
He has demanded the Bihar government to scrap the prelims exam and conduct the exam again. The police maintained that his dharna was against law.
They arrested him and presented him in court. The court warned Kishor against taking such steps in future and granted him conditional bail. However, Kishor refused it and he was taken to Bureau Central jail.
After the government granted unconditional bail, Kishor was released on Monday night.
