The film industry witnessed a lot of changes after the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite certain challenges, certain films have managed to become big blockbusters with outstanding collections.
While the overall box office numbers are based on the response received by the film throughout India, a few of them have been the highest-grossers in certain states. In this particular list of films, Pushpa 2: The Rule has seemingly emerged as the winner.

Pushpa 2 has managed to become the top grosser in places such as Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Bihar. The second in the list is Stree 2, which has been the highest grosser in states like Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh.
Then there is Shah Rukh Khan's second big blockbuster in 2023, Jawan, which is the top-grosser in Assam and West Bengal. RRR is leading in two states, including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Animal has also recorded heavy collections in Jammu & Kashmir, followed by Gadar 2, which left an impression in Himachal Pradesh. Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava has additionally become the top grosser in Maharashtra, alongside Kantara in Karnataka.
While Thalapathy Vijay's Leo made record-breaking collections in Tamil Nadu, Carry on Jatta 3 received a similar response in Punjab. Meanwhile, L2: Empuraan is all set to take over 2018 as a top grosser in Kerala.

With many more big films on the way over the next 2-3 years, it remains to be seen if they can take over the titles that recorded amazing collections in multiple states.
