BRS Party is trying to involve Chandrababu Naidu in Telangana politics again, hoping to change its fortunes. Leaders like KTR and Harish Rao have repeatedly linked Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy in their speeches to build political sentiment.
Recently, K Chandrasekhar Rao also targeted Chandrababu Naidu without any clear reason. This indicates that BRS plans to use this narrative to influence public emotions once more. However, Revanth Reddy does not seem worried about this strategy.
Revanth Reddy visited Tirupati with his family on Vaikunta Ekadasi for a Darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. AP Ministers and TDP Leaders welcomed him at the airport and accompanied him to the Guest House, offering yellow flower bouquets.
BRS supporters shared these photos widely online and criticised Revanth Reddy. They highlighted that he accepted protocol arrangements and did not hesitate to be received by TDP Ministers and Leaders. Revanth Reddy also had Protocol Darshan at the temple.
This gives the impression that Revanth Reddy is no longer concerned about the sentiment factor in Telangana politics. Even in 2023, KCR urged people to vote for BRS to stop Chandrababu Naidu from returning to Telangana politics. The voters did not support that appeal.
Political strategies have an expiry date. The sentiment narrative has lasted longer than most issues. With this approach, BRS appears to be trying to milk an ox with little result expected.
