Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will attend the World Economic Forum to be held in Davos later this month. He will leave for Davos on January 19, as announced by IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu.
Revanth Reddy will participate in WEF events from January 19 to 23. Sridhar Babu said Telangana secured investments worth Rs 5 lakh crore after the Global Summit in December 2024. The state will highlight its strong investment ecosystem and policies.
The Chief Minister will be accompanied by IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu and Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari at the 55th World Economic Forum. This will be Revanth Reddy's second visit to Davos. Telangana plans to set up a separate pavilion to showcase investment opportunities.
During WEF 2024, the state signed MoUs worth Rs 40,000 crore. These projects are currently at different stages of implementation across Telangana. The government sees Davos as a key platform to attract global investors.
In the New Year 2026, Revanth Reddy has more foreign visits planned. He is expected to travel to Australia on January 15 to study the Queensland Spirts University. From there, he will head to Singapore for tourism promotion programmes before flying to Davos.
