In the interview, he revealed that strict time constraints forced him to rush the production. The film was scheduled for a Pongal release, which limited the time he had to complete it.

A similar situation arose with Sikandar, where he had to rush through the filmmaking process to meet its big Eid release deadline.

The hurried execution was evident in both films, and their box office fate turned out to be the same- two disasters despite featuring two superstars.

Had the director not overestimated himself and taken more time, Sikandar might have had a better outcome than it does now.
