From the beginning, Raja Saab had the potential to dominate the festive season. However, weak and lethargic execution turned this Prabhas film into one of the biggest disasters in recent times.

Director Anil Ravipudi faced heavy trolling on social media for a long period. He silenced critics by delivering a box office winner with Chiranjeevi.

Despite receiving moderate reviews, this film emerged as the Sankranti winner. It became the primary choice for audiences during the festival window.

Ravi Teja arrived with BMW, which received better reviews compared to most of his recent films. However, positive feedback did not translate into box office revenue, and the film underperformed significantly.

The response clearly indicates that audiences have lost trust in Ravi Teja's recent choices. Rebuilding that trust appears crucial for his upcoming projects.

Naveen Polishetty entered the race with Anaganaga oka Raju. The film opened to relatively weaker reviews compared to his earlier works.

Despite this, the film managed to draw audiences to theatres and generate strong revenues. It has become the biggest hit of Naveen's career by a comfortable margin, helped greatly by the Sankranti season.

Finally, Sharwanand quietly arrived with Nari Nari Naduma Murari. Expectations were limited, but the film turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

Though the film is underperforming, the reason lies largely in its limited theatre count. It still emerged as one of the more entertaining options this festival season.

Ideally, Prabhas should have dominated the Sankranti box office. Instead, poor execution resulted in a major loss venture.

In contrast, every other Sankranti release managed to secure its share of the box office. The clear winner of the season remains Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu, as Anil and Chiru stood tall.
