As it turns out, Rajini is better off, making commercialized actioners with the likes of Nelson and Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Nelson delivered blockbuster Jailer for Rajini and now, the senior star is working with Lokesh for Coolie which happens to be the better-hyped film in his career in recent years.
At this point in his career, there is no need for Rajini to keep doing films continually that anyway pack no hype prior to the release.

Instead, he can stick to two talented young filmmakers Nelson and Lokesh who are delivering good products.
Whatever gap that comes between Rajini's films while waiting for these directors will only add to the hype on the succeeding film. Else, there is no point in the veteran star doing films at random at this point, we must say.
