Director Anil Ravipudi is one of the most bankable film directors in Telugu cinema. A section of audience feel that his films are cringe material.

The important thing here is that Anil is delivering every single time at the box office. Every single film of his proved to be a successful venture in terms of theatrical returns.

However, there is an issue for Anil henceforth, and it has something to do with the possibility of him working with superstars in the future.

Notably, the elite superstars of Tollywood are all occupied with pan Indian films now. Allu Arjun got to big league with Pushpa, and so did Charan and Tarak with RRR. Prabhas is a huge deal already. Mahesh Babu will enter this league with Rajamouli's film.

The point to be noted here is that all these superstars have huge films that have vast canvas. They all have their priorities set on pan Indian action films. There is simply no scope for a comedy film on a small scale with Anil Ravipudi anymore.

Pushpa 2: Too Much, Too Late?

Considering the market demands of these stars, they no longer have the leeway to work with someone like Anil Ravipudi. The hard fact is that Anil hasn't proven his big scale action filmmaking yet.

Until and unless Anil can hone his skills big time and come up with something super interesting that can cater to pan Indian folk, the chances of an elite star working with him are pretty low.
