Telugu Film Industry was taken back with the recent turn of events in Telangana. Nobody knows what happened but things went that far to Allu Arjun's arrest and the Chief Minister lambasting the industry in the Assembly.

It is as if the entire government machinery is after Allu Arjun to frame him in the case which everyone knows happened unintentionally. The arrest itself was shocking and the admancy to put the actor in jail at least for one night is even more shocking.

With Nizam being a key area and all assets of the industry people located in Hyderabad, the industry went crawling to Revanth Reddy. This Humiliation is not anything new to the industry. Similar scenes happened in Andhra during Jagan's regime.

Things were little different. It is more about harrassing with low priced tickets and Revenue Staff selling them strictly. The harassment was so high that Chiranjeevi had to plead with folded hands for mercy.

The roots of this problem lies between 2014 and 2019. After the Bifurcation, Tollywood personalities became wary of their assets in Hyderabad. They feared harassment by the then BRS Government and started hobnobbing with KTR.

KTR wanted Film Glamour to improve his image in the Public and encouraged them to the fullest. The Bonhomie was too much and it had attracted the attention of the other political leaders.

Be it Jagan or Revanth Reddy now, their high expectations of Tollywood respect started with KTR. But then, the same respect and importance is not given to Jagan or Revanth Reddy because they do not have the fear of losing their assets.

In the process, there is lapse in the respect and mismatched expectations, hence the harassment by Jagan then and Revanth Reddy now.
