Why Lokesh Did Not Call Jagan 'Garu'?

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy turned 53 yesterday.

CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, Minister Nara Lokesh, and PCC President Sharmila wished Jagan Mohan Reddy on this occasion.

Later in the day, Jagan replied to each one of them including his sister, Sharmila who is fighting a legal battle but he chose to avoid Nara Lokesh.

"Birthday greetings to former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Wishing him good health and a long life," Nara Lokesh posted on X.

There are barrage of replies below the tweet saying Lokesh did not refer Jagan as 'Garu' and he has disrespected the Former Chief Minister.

YSR Congress supporters say Jagan did not reply to Lokesh because of that ill-mannered wish.

But then, Lokesh did not avoid 'Garu' for no reason.

In April, on the occasion of Chandrababu Naidu's Birthday, Jagan wished the Chief Minister without adding 'Garu'.

Back then, netizens bashed Jagan for disrespecting a leader who is contemporary to his father.

Jagan's team simply edited the Tweet and added 'Garu'.

"If there is any remorse, Jagan's team would have deleted the tweet and reposted it. They would have posted an apology, calling it a mistake. But then, they simply chose to edit the tweet and add a 'Garu' carelessly," the people said back then.

The features of X are that whenever someone edits a tweet, we can also see the older version. The tweet and the edit history are embedded below this article.

Probably, Lokesh decided to give it back and avoided 'Garu' while wishing Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The Political Environment in Andhra Pradesh has become so hostile after Jagan floated YSR Congress.

Wishing the Opponents on Birthdays is a culture started by Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh a few years ago. They have been wishing Jagan Mohan Reddy on his Birthday.

Once it started, Jagan Mohan Reddy had to continue.

But it is unfortunate that even that has become eventful now.
