Last week, Google announced its Biggest AI Hub outside the United States in Vishakapatnam. The Port City is already getting TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant.

We can clearly see there is a very good attempt to bring investments to the state and create jobs.

Also, this is happening when the World is undergoing a crisis due to the disruption by Artificial Intelligence.

On the other hand, the state is also focused on social welfare this term. We have seen attempts made to fulfill the promises made as a part of Super Six.

Enhanced Pensions, Thalliki Vandanam, Annadata Sukhibhava, Deepam Scheme, Vahana Mitra, and Stree Shakti were all done already.

There is a balance between Development and Welfare as people expect from the TDP Government and it is actually good for the state as well.

During 2014-19, there was a similar attempt.

AP has got big investments like Kia, Isuzu, Hero Motors, etc. There were welfare schemes like farm loan waiver, free power, pensions, etc.

But then, Chandrababu Naidu failed to rein the Opposition back then.

YSR Congress used to run amok filing cases on Amaravati, Polavaram, etc. Amaravati works were stalled successfully and we know what happened later. They used to write letters to the World Bank to stall the funding for the capital.

There used to be continuous propaganda on loan waiver schemes.

As of now, Chandrababu Naidu Government is handling the Opposition reasonably well or maybe YSR Congress is yet to recover from 2024 defeat.

There were attempts to start similar propaganda very recently. We have seen what is happening with Google AI Hub. There is a huge attempt to confuse the people saying that there are no jobs.

A massive investment like Google is also being pulled down.

Along with the balance between Development and Welfare, it is important to keep the Opposition in check. The warning signs have started already.

Between 2014 and 2019, Chandrababu Naidu used to be all alone. Also, he did not have a grip on social media. But this time, Lokesh is there handling some of the stuff. Also, he is hands-on on social media and technology.

Handling YSR Congress should be a top priority of Lokesh if the state should go forward or if TDP has to win 2029.
