SYM presents the new NH-X 125 and NH-R 125: More power were evolution is clear

SYM presented the new NH-X 125 and NH-R 125 at EICMA, two models that share the same liquid-cooled engine and ABS braking system. The NH-X 125 LC ABS represents an evolution of the previous version, now equipped with a liquid-cooled engine, ABS and a more aggressive design, while the NH-R 125 LC ABS is introduced as a completely new option within the low-displacement Trail segment.

Both models mark the brand's renewed presence in an important category, supported by strong technical arguments.

The new NH-X and NH-R are powered by a recently developed 125 cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine designed to improve efficiency and deliver consistent performance even at high rpm.

The transmission has been upgraded from 5 to 6 speeds, increasing durability. With the additional gear, the ratios are closer together, enhancing the riding experience and overall enjoyment.

The more adventure-oriented NH-R comes standard with engine protection, hand guards, a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. It is available in three colours and features a colour LCD display and a 14-litre fuel tank. Its aggressive Mecha-style front design reinforces its high-tech appeal and distinctive presence.

Its rally-inspired exterior styling reflects a bold and youthful character. This design not only enhances the rugged look of an off-road rally motorcycle but also supports an ideal riding posture for improved visibility and control across varied terrain.

The Full LED lighting system increases safety at all times, while the 14-litre fuel tank provides generous range.

Equipped with QC 3.0 and fast USB Type-C charging, it offers efficient, high-speed power delivery for smartphones and other electronic devices.

The SYM NH-X, on the other hand, combines sporty styling with an aggressive urban attitude. Its forward-leaning riding position and dynamic design convey speed and momentum.

The riding posture was intentionally set with a lower centre of gravity and a forward-inclined position which, together with the streamlined front design, creates a strong sense of dynamism and speed. The dual L-shaped position lights further emphasise forward focus and readiness.

The NH-X 125 adopts an aggressive, urban-styled design in which the riding position enhances control and agility.

The new engine configuration delivers a clear performance increase, with +28% more power and +16% more torque compared to the previous version.
