Laurent ChoainAccor Appoints Laurent Choain as Global Chief People & Culture Officer
Accor has announced the appointment of Laurent Choain as Global Chief People & Culture Officer, effective from 1 April 2026. In this position, he will join the Group Management Board and will also serve on the Premium, Midscale & Economy Executive Committee.
Sébastien BazinSébastien Bazin, Group Chairman and CEO of Accor, welcomed the appointment and said Choain's experience in human resources and organisational culture will support the group's continued focus on talent development and workplace culture.
Laurent Choain brings more than three decades of experience in human resources leadership across international organisations. His career includes senior roles at Forvis Mazars, Groupe Caisse d'Epargne (now BPCE), and Kempinski Hotels & Resorts. His work has focused on human capital development, leadership programmes, and organisational culture initiatives.
He is also involved in governance and advisory roles within the management and education community. His current engagements include board positions at EFMD, Bologna Business School, the Peter Drucker Society of Europe, and the Festival de Ramatuelle.

Choain holds a PhD in Management Sciences from Université Paris Panthéon-Assas. He also earned a Master's degree from Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne and Neoma Business School.
In his new position at Accor, Choain will oversee the group's global people strategy, including talent development, organizational culture, and employee engagement across its operations worldwide.
