Airbus Launches Skywise Subsidiary to Integrate Digital Services
New Entity Combines Skywise and Navblue Solutions
Airbus has announced the launch of Skywise, a wholly owned subsidiary that brings together its Skywise digital platform and Navblue solutions under a single structure.
The move is aimed at aligning digital services to support airline operations across flight, technical and ground functions, for both Airbus and non-Airbus fleets.
Global Operations and Workforce

The new Skywise entity will operate across multiple locations, including Canada, France, India, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, the UK and the United States. It is expected to employ around 750 people globally.
Focus on Integrated Digital Solutions
Cristina AguilarCristina Aguilar, Senior Vice President Customer Services, Commercial Aircraft at Airbus, said the integration is intended to combine technical and digital capabilities to support customer requirements.
She noted that demand for digital solutions in aviation is increasing, with airlines seeking integrated and interoperable systems to manage operations more effectively.
Evolution of Skywise Platform

The Skywise platform, which connects more than 12,000 aircraft, is being developed further as part of this transition into a dedicated digital services entity.
By combining Skywise with Navblue's expertise in flight operations, Airbus aims to expand its digital offering within the aviation services market.
Long-Term Strategy for Services Growth

The creation of the new subsidiary forms part of Airbus's broader strategy to expand its services business, with a focus on digital tools and lifecycle management.
The company aims to support airline efficiency through integrated solutions covering the full operational lifecycle, from entry into service through to retirement.
