Choice Hotels International has announced the appointment of Jeff Lobb as the new SVP, General Counsel & Secretary, effective March 26, 2026 .
Jeff has been a part of Choice Hotels since 2006, and most recently served as Deputy General Counsel where he oversaw company's corporate, finance, and transactions teams and played a key role in corporate governance, board administration, strategic initiatives including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, investments, real estate ventures, and commercial agreements.
Prior to joining Choice Hotels, Jeff practiced law at several leading Washington, D.C. based firms. He succeeds Simone Wu, who will retire later this spring.
In this new role, Jeff Lobb will oversee the company's global legal and public policy strategy and operations and serve as a key member of Choice Hotels' Executive Leadership Team. He will be reporting directly to the company's President and CEO, Pat Pacious.
Over the course of his career. Jeff has also been recognized with industry accolades, including being named Outstanding In-House Counsel by the Association of Corporate Counsel - National Capital Region.
