Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Shankar brings more than 20 years of international hospitality experience across the Asia-Pacific region.

He joins Fusion Hotel Group from A&A Hospitality Solutions, where he served as Founder & Managing Director. Prior to this, he was Head of South & South East Asia at La Vie Hotels & Resorts and Vice President Operations at ONYX Hospitality Group.

Shankar spent more than 13 years with IHG, holding various leadership positions across hotel openings, operations support and revenue management in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

His experience includes hotel pre-openings, multi-property operations, operational transformation, asset management, revenue optimisation and stakeholder engagement across multiple markets.

In his new role, Shankar will oversee operations across Fusion Hotel Group's portfolio, with a focus on operational performance, commercial outcomes, team development and supporting the group's expansion.
