He brings more than two decades of hospitality experience, including senior operational and food and beverage roles with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Marriott International across Europe, North America, the Caribbean and the Middle East.

Prior to his promotion at Nujuma, Dennis served as General Manager with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection from February 2023 to May 2025. As the opening General Manager of Ilma, he was responsible for onboard hotel operations spanning Guest Services, Housekeeping, Finance, Food & Beverage and Culinary, Human Resources, Retail, Entertainment, Spa, Wellness and other guest-facing functions.

Before joining The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Dennis was Hotel Manager at The St. Regis Toronto from September 2021 to February 2023. Earlier, he spent more than five years at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico, where he served as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food & Beverage.

His Ritz-Carlton career also included more than five years at The Ritz-Carlton, Abama in Tenerife, where he progressed through roles including Restaurant Manager, Director of Restaurants, Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage.

Dennis began his career with Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, holding various Food & Beverage management positions in Tenerife between 2006 and 2010.

In his new role at Nujuma, Dennis will oversee the resort's overall operations, including guest experience, Rooms, Food & Beverage, finance, human resources and other operational functions.
