Reporting to General Manager Geoff Pearson, Dominguez will lead the resort's sales and marketing functions.

Dominguez brings more than 25 years of experience in hospitality sales and marketing. Prior to joining OUTRIGGER Kona Resort & Spa, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Outbound Sedona, where he worked on the resort's go-to-market strategy and developed partnerships with local government, tourism and business organisations.

His previous experience in Hawai'i includes more than 10 years as Director of Sales and Marketing at Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, along with sales and marketing leadership roles at resorts in Waikīkī, Kaua'i and Hawai'i Island.

Dominguez has also previously worked at the Kona property as Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Group Sales when it operated as Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa and Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa.

In his new role, Dominguez will oversee sales initiatives, marketing planning and brand communications. He will also work with OUTRIGGER's corporate and area sales, marketing, revenue management and business development teams on market share, occupancy, rate and revenue objectives.
