Seekda has appointed Gilmar Barretella as the new Managing Director, effective immediately.

Gilmar Barretella brings more than 20 years of experience in SaaS and technology leadership, with a background in scaling software businesses, driving commercial performance, and managing international teams.

He has previously held senior roles within Valsoft.

Earlier in his career, Gilmar worked at Google, where he was involved in initiatives related to the travel sector.

His appointment comes as Seekda continues to invest in its platform capabilities, including distribution expansion and AI-driven tools aimed at improving operational efficiency and supporting direct revenue growth for hotel partners.

Seekda currently works with more than 4,000 hotels globally and maintains a significant presence in Austria's hospitality technology market. In his new role, Barretella will focus on execution, commercial strategy, and ongoing product development.

The company's existing platform includes solutions such as its booking engine, channel manager, property management system, and AI-led tools designed to support hotel performance. Seekda is also recognised as a connectivity partner by Expedia Group and Booking.com.
