voco Amritsar by IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a series of leadership appointments across its management team, strengthening capabilities across operations, sales, finance, engineering, human resources, and security.
Sunit Rana- Director of Sales
Sunit Rana has been appointed Director of Sales. He brings over 19 years of experience in hospitality, with a background in sales strategy, market development, and brand positioning.
His career includes roles with leading brands such as IHG Hotels & Resorts, The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts, Radisson Hotel Group, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Pride Hotels, Sarovar Hotels, and Chokhi Dhani Group. In his role, he will lead the hotel's sales strategy with a focus on market expansion and revenue growth.
Roshan- Director of Finance and Business Support
Roshan has been appointed to oversee finance operations, bringing over a decade of experience in financial management. He has previously been associated with IHCL in Goa, as well as Hilton and Marriott International. His expertise includes financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and operational efficiency.
At voco Amritsar, Roshan will oversee the financial operations of the property while supporting strategic business growth.
Saurabh Singh- Executive Housekeeper
Saurabh Singh joins as Executive Housekeeper, with over 15 years of experience in housekeeping operations. His background includes roles with Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Le Méridien, along with involvement in pre-opening projects such as Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort and Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi.
He holds extensive expertise in team leadership, quality control, guest service excellence, and operational management.
Shivendra Singh- Director of Human Resources
Shivendra Singh has been appointed Director of Human Resources, bringing over 12 years of experience in talent management, employee engagement, and organisational development. In his role, he will lead the hotel's HR function, focusing on people strategy and workforce development.
Shivendra bring extensive expertise in talent management, employee engagement and organisational development. In his new role at voco Amritsar, Shivendra will lead the hotel's human resource function, focusing on strengthening the people strategy, supporting talent development and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Narendra Yadav- Engineering Manager
Narendra Yadav joins as Engineering Manager, with over 14 years of experience in engineering and technical operations. He was part of the hotel's pre-opening team and has previously served at Holiday Inn New Delhi Aerocity, along with roles at Le Méridien Hyderabad, Holiday Inn Express Kolkata Airport, MHRS Indore, and Courtyard by Marriott Agra.
His experience includes maintenance management, energy conservation, and compliance. He has also received recognition including Best Executive of the Year and multiple performance awards.
Radhika Chhetri- Front Office Manager
Radhika Chhetri has been appointed to lead Front Office operations. With over 10 years of experience, she has worked with InterContinental Hotels Group across brands such as Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn, and has also gained exposure with Accor and Marriott International.
In her new role at voco Amritsar, Radhika will oversee front office operations with a focus on delivering seamless guest experiences and maintaining the brand's service standards.
Faizan Malik- Security Manager
Faizan Malik joins as Security Manager, bringing experience in security operations and risk management. Prior to hospitality, he served with the Delhi Police Department (MHA) for over eight years. His hospitality experience includes roles with The Leela Palace New Delhi, Radisson Blu Kaushambi Delhi NCR, Holiday Inn New Delhi International Airport, Ramada Encore by Wyndham, and M3M Corporates. His qualifications include certifications in security and disaster management, along with training in fire safety and first aid.
In his new role at voco Amritsar, Faizan will lead the entire hotel's security operations with a focus on ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues while upholding the brand's operational standards.
