SUPREME COURT QUASHES CASE AGAINST FORMER DRUG COMPANY DIRECTOR
Case Name:Yashpal Chail vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Anr.
Because he had resigned before to the raid and drug seizure, the Supreme Court decided that a former director of Elmac Remedies Pvt.
Ltd. could not be held accountable under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. Due to the charges' lack of legal foundation, the court dismissed them.

SUPREME COURT ACQUITS JEWELER IN ₹6.7 CRORE VIJAYA BANK FRAUD CASE
Case Name: Nandkumar Babulal Soni vs. State of Maharashtra & Ors.
By holding that merely possessing stolen items does not prove guilt unless the accused had knowledge or cause to suspect it was stolen, the Supreme Court cleared a jeweler convicted under Section 411 IPC. The appellant was ordered to restore the 205 confiscated gold bars by the court.

J&K HIGH COURT ORDERS 80% TOLL FEE REDUCTION ON NH-44
Case Name: Sugandha Sawhney vs. Union of India, 2025
Citing worsening road conditions, the Jammu and Kashmir High Court ruled to reduce toll fees at two toll plazas on NH-44 by 80%. The court ordered police verification prior to employing toll operators and ruled that fees must reimburse users for well-maintained roadways.
