Raipur: JioHotstar has been named the official streaming partner for the inaugural Chhattisgarh Hockey League (CHL), India's first official state hockey league sanctioned by Hockey India.
The final is scheduled for November 1, 2026. The franchises will feature several prominent hockey players, including Olympians Surender Kumar, Pradeep Mor, SV Sunil, Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, Shamsher and Chinglensana Singh Kangujam. Alongside the men's competition, the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare will organise a women's exhibition match on the opening day to promote women's hockey. Sports event management firm Sspark Sports and Entertainment has been appointed to oversee the league's execution and operations.

Partnering with JioHotstar ensures that the league will definitely make a mark on a national and global scale and will give these athletes the platform they deserve to showcase their talent." The Chhattisgarh Hockey League aims to strengthen the state's hockey ecosystem, create opportunities for emerging players and support the development of India's national sport at the grassroots level. Under the tagline "Chalo Re Sangi, Hockey Khelbo", the league seeks to celebrate Chhattisgarh's sporting identity, regional pride and growing ambitions in hockey. The matches will be available on JioHotstar in Hindi and Chhattisgarhi, extending the tournament's reach beyond the state and providing a wider platform for local talent to gain visibility among hockey fans.
