Live Times appoints Vipul Kumar as Vice President - Sales

New Delhi: Live Times, positioned as India's First Global Multicast News Hub, has appointed Vipul Kumar as Vice President - Sales as it strengthens its commercial leadership and revenue operations across Linear Television and Digital platforms.
The appointment is part of Live Times' broader strategy to build an integrated revenue ecosystem spanning television, digital, branded content, sponsorships, intellectual properties, events, government business, special projects and integrated communication solutions. Kumar brings more than 20 years of experience in business development and sales, with expertise across client relationship management, new business development, team building, revenue management and P&L accountability. Prior to joining Live Times, he served as AVP - Ad Sales at a leading News Media Corporation, where he was responsible for revenue generation for regional and national news brands across corporate, retail and government businesses. He also worked on advertiser and agency relationships across key northern markets, including Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Punjab.

Dilip Singh[/caption] Welcoming Vipul to the organisation, Dilip Singh, Founder & CEO, Live Times, said, "Live Times is being built with a fundamentally different vision for the future of news. As India's First Global Multicast News Hub, our ambition is to create an ecosystem in which credible journalism, technology, distribution and commercial innovation work together across platforms. As our audience and footprint expand, it is equally important that we build a commercial organisation capable of translating that scale into meaningful value for advertisers and partners. Vipul's experience across revenue leadership, client relationships and regional markets will further strengthen this endeavour.

We welcome him to Live Times and look forward to his contribution to our next phase of growth."
In his new role, Kumar will contribute to Live Times' revenue strategy across Linear and Digital Sales, with a focus on strengthening advertiser and agency partnerships, developing new business opportunities and creating integrated commercial solutions. The appointment comes as Live Times expands its multi-platform presence and seeks to build a national sales organisation aligned with changing advertiser and agency requirements. The network is developing its commercial proposition around integrated opportunities across television and digital rather than treating the platforms as separate advertising products. With investments across content, technology, distribution, digital capabilities and commercial leadership, Live Times is seeking to strengthen its position as a multi-platform news network while building a wider commercial ecosystem for advertisers and partners.
