After the action-packed reveal of the new Duster on this year's Republic Day, Renault has now finally given us a launch date which will finally mark the rebirth of the brand in India after a hiatus of 4 years. But before we get to it, here is a lowdown of all we know about the new Duster:
2026 Renault Duster: Exterior
Right from the beginning, the Duster's design conveyed its tough and rugged personality quite well, and the new one adds a dash of modernity to this theme. At the front, it gets a tall bonnet, a gloss black grille with 'DUSTER' lettering and slim headlamps with an 'eyebrow-like' DRL signature. You also have a chunky bumper with a large skid plate and a black applique.

The side profile brings back the signature muscular haunches, along with a more upright stance, stylish 18-inch alloy wheels and prominent roof rails. The rear door handles are now located behind the windows to mimic a 'two-door' body style.

The rear-end styling too follows a simple yet sophisticated theme. The highlight here is the connected LED taillamp cluster with black casing and a 'clear-lens' effect for distinction. There is also a black applique on the tailgate, along with a chunkily cladded bumper with silver trim.

2026 Renault Duster: Interior
Inside, the Duster is no longer the basic and functional SUV it once was. There is now a very contemporary-looking dashboard with a dual-screen setup and a variety of high-quality textures and materials being used. It also debuts a new 3-spoke steering wheel with gloss black inserts and a minimalistic centre console with a stubby gear lever. The addition of a panoramic sunroof also makes the experience airier.

2026 Renault Duster: Features And Safety
Renault has left no stone unturned when equipping the Duster, and it gets features like a panoramic sunroof, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with Google OS, dual-zone automatic climate control, powered tailgate, multi-colour ambient lighting, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, air purifier, wireless charger and 6-way powered and ventilated front seats.

It also gets safety tech such as a Level 2 ADAS suite, 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors.

2026 Renault Duster: Powertrains
Under the hood, the new Duster will be powered by a choice of three turbo-petrol engines including a 1-litre, 1.3-litre and 1.8-litre unit. The latter two will also get mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid tech respectively. Here are their specifications for reference:
