Seven YSRCP leaders have been arrested for allegedly sacrificing a goat in front of a flex banner of Jagan and giving it a blood bath. The incident, which happened on Friday night in Chodavaram village, Nallajarla mandal of East Godavari district, caused fear among locals.
The leaders reportedly shouted rappa rappa slogans during the incident. Videos of the act were shared online, creating shock and concern among residents. Police arrived in the village on Saturday morning and took all seven into custody.
The East Godavari SP warned that strict action will be taken against those involved in animal sacrifices carried out in this manner. The SP added that frightening the public with such acts or videos will lead to legal consequences and advised youth not to risk their future.
Similar incidents were reported in Dharmavaram in Sri Satya Sai district on Jagan's birthday. From CM Chandrababu to local police officials, warnings have been issued to YSRCP supporters not to engage in such acts that spread fear and tension.
The situation has led to renewed calls for responsible behaviour and respect for public safety.
