YSRCP chief Jagan has reportedly developed a fever. As a result, he cancelled his scheduled programme in Pulivendula on Wednesday. The update was officially shared by YSRCP on X.
Party members are concerned about their leader's health, as multiple programmes had to be cancelled. Jagan is currently staying in the Pulivendula segment of Kadapa district as part of a three-day visit.
He was scheduled to be in Idupulapaya on Wednesday to coincide with Christmas celebrations. During his stay in Pulivendula, he held a praja darbar and interacted with many people.
On Wednesday, Jagan was also expected to participate in a prayer meeting and pay respects at YSR Ghat. He was supposed to travel to Bakrapuram and conduct another praja darbar. However, his entire schedule for the day now stands cancelled.
According to the latest update, Jagan will attend prayers at the CSI church in Pulivendula at 8.30 am. He is expected to leave Pulivendula by 10.30 am.
Meanwhile, YSRCP has recently suffered setbacks in Pulivendula, with several local leaders quitting the party. Pulivendula has long been a stronghold of Jagan since the time of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. However, after the ZPTC elections, a noticeable wave of migration from the party has been observed.
