A key turn has come in the Kaleshwaram scam case that shook Telangana. The CBI has started a preliminary inquiry into Kaleshwaram from Thursday.

Officials are checking documents to decide the next step. The NDSA and PC Ghose Commission reports are under review. After the inquiry, the CBI will register an FIR and take the investigation further.
In political circles, debate is growing on how the BRS will face this storm. The PC Ghose Commission already stated that former CM KCR is the karta, karma, kriya of the Kaleshwaram scam.
The Commission also highlighted that corruption and the sinking of barrages caused heavy losses to the state. Now, the CBI is preparing to question KCR, adding tension to BRS as the inquiry deepens.
