Last year, on May 10, Viveka's daughter Sunita and son-in-law Rajasekhar Reddy approached the Supreme Court. The state government has filed an application asking for submission of the latest report filed by DSP Bukke Murali in Pulivendula Court. It put forth key points in the case in front of the Apex Court.

Looking back, the case was wrapped up in a hurry in the past. Preliminary chargesheet too was made in a hurry after Raju was made to sign in case diary at Avinash Reddy's house.

The state government made it clear that CBI SP never tortured Krishna Reddy in Delhi. He questioned Krishna Reddy only once in the presence of CRPF constable in Kadapa central jail guest house, the state government said.

In all, the state government is trying to bring out the conspiracy behind Viveka's murder.
